Agile Estimation

Agile Estimation - Course Listings
Course Details:

An established, consistent, and well-defined estimating practice is the key to identifying and managing project risks. Our Agile Estimation training class will increase an Agile team's understanding of the principles and methods of estimating in an Agile environment.

In the course, you will learn:

  • Multiple options for sizing and estimating work
  • How to generate estimates for level of effort, project duration, project costs, and deliverable quality
  • How to better predict time-to-delivery

This on-site class is ideal for a Program or Project Manager who needs or wants their Agile team(s) to better estimate their workload, so that they are more effective in predicting productivity and velocity. This one-day training class provides insight into the multiple options available to size and estimate your team’s workload, resulting in improved predictions as to productivity and time to delivery. Unlike standardized Agile or scrum training classes, our Agile Estimation class provides fundamental and advanced concepts and techniques for an in-depth understanding of how important accurate sizing is and how estimating velocity and burn-down is vital to success.

If you wish to have an on-site training class at your location, please contact Tony Manno at 610-829-9122. More information on the class is available here.

"It's frustrating that there are so many failed software projects when I know from personal experience that it's possible to do so much better - and we can help."
