TMMi Professional Qualification Training

The Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi®) is the de facto International Standard to assess and improve test maturity, featuring independent best practices from more than 14 quality and test models. The model features five levels and each level is comprised of a series of processes that must be in place in order to achieve that rating.

The Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) Professional Qualifications Class has been developed by the TMMi Foundation to assist those who want to effectively use the TMMi model in their organization. The class is a combination of lecture and practical exercises to help attendees understand the TMMi model and prepare for the exam. The successful completion of the exam is a prerequisite to becoming a TMMi Lead Assessor or Assessor.

Attendees are provided with:

  • A detailed understanding of the structure and content of the TMMi model, including the Goals, Process Areas and Practices for each level
  • Course handbook
  • An opportunity to sit the TMMi Professional exam

SNAP Fundamentals

Course Description:
Attendees will learn and apply SNAP counting techniques through intensive instruction and hands-on practical application. This training meets 4 times. Attendees are expected to attend all 4 sessions.

SNAP (the Software Non-Functional Assessment Process) provides a quantifiable measure for the non-functional size of software. As such, attendees will learn to size non-functional characteristics by means of documented definitions, guidance, and practices in order to improve software estimation, build better benchmarks, and better communicate non-functional issues to stakeholders.

In this course, you will learn:

  • The principles behind SNAP counting techniques
  • How to apply the SNAP process to both applications and projects
  • How SNAP points and function points can be used in conjunction for maximum benefit

This class is ideal for the software practitioner or project manager who needs or wants to learn IFPUG SNAP counting techniques. They are instructor-based training classes that provide a general understanding of SNAP counting techniques, while also preparing attendees to start performing counts. Unlike similar classes, our classes provide intensive instruction and hands-on practical application facilitated by one of our highly qualified and experienced trainers.

"It's frustrating that there are so many failed software projects when I know from personal experience that it's possible to do so much better - and we can help."
